The Librados EICS provides both a configuration and runtime environment that allows you to rapidly define and deploy managed Integration Components (IC) that abstract the combined functionality of these EIS applications into a single EJB in any J2EE 1.3 compliant application server environment, or a java object in a Web Server environment. The Librados EICS and adapters leverage EIS metadata to dynamically expose backend EIS application functionality through an IC as an XML schema, a Web Service, a Portlet, or a set of Java bindings generated using JAXB, so that XML data can easily be mapped to java objects and made available to other applications that do not communicate in XML No programming effort is required. Hand-mapping of request and response formats in and out of the target EIS application is completely eliminated.
