Prior to ESG, Peter was Director of Marketing for EMC Service Provider business unit. Mr. Gerr previously led Competitive Intelligence and Strategic Marketing for the CLARiiON storage division of Data General Corp. from 1998 until the company's acquisition by EMC in late 1999. Peter also has experience in the storage industry in Product Management and Marketing positions with Storage Computer and Workstation Solutions. Peter received a BS in Architectural Design and Engineering from Roger Williams University.

Rory Bolt

Rory Bolt has over 20 years of experience in upercomputing, high performance storage and backup systems. Prior to joining Avamar, Bolt has held various Industry positions such as VP and Chief Storage Architect of Quantum Storage Solutions Group, co-founder and CTO of @Backup, and development manager at OpenVision. He has been granted three storage related US patents and currently has seven patents in process. Bolt holds a BS in computer engineering from the University of California, San Diego.
