ABSTRACT:

WAN optimization technologies can be almost magical; they can produce greatly improved performance while paying for themselves in only a year or less. But their effectiveness strongly depends on the data characteristics and protocols being optimized; their implementation can be complex; and simple measurements of their effectiveness can be misled by the optimization technologies.

This webcast therefore focuses on two topics:

  • Analysis of enterprise traffic to determine those data flows that are the best candidates for optimization.
  • Measurement of the effectiveness of that optimization.

Join us if you are considering the use of WAN optimization and want some advice on choosing your first candidate data flows for optimization and on measuring the results to justify the cost of optimization.
