ABSTRACT:
Aberdeen research reveals that 61% of enterprises surveyed are planning a transition to an IP-enabled network in the next two years. Best-in-Class (BIC) performers are using strategies and technology to complete the transition faster with less downtime. On average, Laggards took 76% longer to complete network transitions even though BIC organizations have 52% more phones. One-hundred percent (100%) of BIC organizations have completed their IP transition on-time versus 55% for all other respondents. This report is a roadmap for enterprises seeking to achieve a timely, cost effective network transition. The findings are drawn from a survey of more than 275 enterprises.
