An award-winning technology journalist and an acclaimed speaker and moderator at worldwide industry events, Gibson has written extensively on the new social media, including the use of blogs, wikis, RSS, and podcasting in the enterprise. Gibson also authored the IBM Watch blog, the only industry Weblog dedicated to IBM. In 1999, Gibson won the Jesse H. Neal Award from the American Business Press for Best Editorials.

Prior to joining HP, Day was director of marketing for PolyServe. He holds a BSEE from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Texas.
