ABSTRACT:

Most malware is simply a distraction.

Then there are more dangerous and advanced threats that can have severe consequences and are the choice of today's professional cyber-criminals-rootkits, buffer-overflows, and other sophisticated attacks. This webcast brings together two industry luminaries-Robin Bloor and Dan Teal-to discuss these previously undetectable programs and attack surfaces. The webcast will cover:

  • Cyber-criminal and Threat Ecosystem-in terms of how it affects the average company.
  • Rootkits, Buffer Overflows and other Sophisticated Attacks-what they do, how they work, and what they try to do.
  • Solution Options-including the role of kernel-based application whitelisting solutions like BOUNCER by CoreTrace™.
