ABSTRACT:
The Reconnex Data Loss Profiler helps enterprise organizations identify the need for Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Profiler enables information security professionals to quickly determine the type and severity of data loss occurring through their network. Deployed at a network egress point using a SPAN port or tap on the Reconnex iGuard appliance, Profiler captures, classifies, and indexes outgoing SMTP and webmail content. Profiler can then be queried using an intuitive search interface to identify the proliferation of sensitive material and the need for a DLP solution. Profiler not only provides organizations with better visibility into what sensitive data is leaving their organization, but also provides an upgrade path to full functionality of the industry-leading Reconnex iGuard family.
Profiler requires no tuning and deploys in a simple and transparent manner. By leveraging the same classification, indexing, and capture capabilities of the powerful iGuard family, Profiler enables users to perform queries using the intuitive management interface to determine if sensitive digital assets are being exposed. The Profiler attaches to the network quickly utilizing a SPAN port or a network tap, and requires only basic network configuration parameters to begin operation.
